Newborn photos are unusually picky. These three convert cleanly:

A newborn's face is small, so it has to fill the frame. The 40cm size is 50 by 50 studs, 2,500 in all, and with the face across half the frame an eye is about 3 studs wide. Any further back and the features flatten into blocks.

A sleeping face is the calmest and the easiest to rebuild: no motion blur, clean edges. Choose a plain blanket or sheet behind, so the 2,500 bricks are not eaten by clutter and the skin tone can lift off the background.

An adult's hand, a favourite soft toy - they can go in too. The 50cm size is 64 by 64 studs, 4,096 in total, so two faces side by side each keep about 14 studs of width. One more presence gives the scale away.

Baby showers usually happen four to six weeks before the due date, so shower gifts are chosen before anyone has seen the baby. A photo piece belongs to the second wave, after the birth.
The first fortnight is visitors and casseroles. Something that arrives in week 4 or 5, when the house has gone quiet and the novelty has worn off for everyone else, gets far more attention.
Skin in the first days is still red and unsettled. Those shots land on a single shade once converted, so features disappear. Most babies photograph more evenly after about three weeks.
New parents are managing a schedule that does not accommodate guests. Shipping to the house removes the need to arrange a visit, which is a gift in itself during that stretch.

40cm ships in 1-3 business days, 50cm in 2-4. Free shipping in Taiwan, and to Hong Kong for 40cm.
Almost everything on the standard list gets outgrown in weeks. The exceptions are the things that stay in the room, which is why nursery wall art keeps appearing on lists and sleepsuits do not.
Mild softness is fine, because 2,500 bricks simplify fine detail anyway. What does not work is a subject that is too small in the frame or an image that is badly overexposed.
Yes, and many people do. Upload and preview are free without an account, so you can test a photo now and come back at six months or the first birthday when there are more expressions to choose from.
