For the best results, choose photos with:

• Good lighting - Avoid photos with heavy shadows, especially on faces
• Clear subject - The main subject should stand out from the background
• High contrast - Distinct colors between subject and background
• Simple composition - Close-up portraits work better than busy scenes

Each brick represents a pixel, so fine details may not be visible in the final mosaic. Although we use nearly 50 different colors, there are still some differences compared to actual photos.

If the subject and background have similar colors, they may blend together in the conversion, making separation difficult.

Yes, but keep in mind that the more detail in a photo, the less clear each element will be. For group photos, we recommend:

• Choosing the 50cm (larger) size for more detail
• Keeping the group close together
• Using photos where faces are clearly visible

AI Detail Enhance is BrickNet's proprietary AI algorithm that produces sharper, more textured mosaic results — especially for portraits and pet photos with rich fur detail.

The feature is completely free. After uploading, you can toggle it on/off on the design page at no extra charge.

The system automatically generates multiple designs covering 3 compositions (different crop angles) × 3 styles, so you can pick your favourite from several previews.

Yes. Black-and-white photos can be converted — our AI renders them using greyscale brick tones for depth. That said, colour photos generally produce richer visual results, so we recommend using the colour version if the original is in colour.

No strict limit, but we recommend photos with at least 800 pixels on both sides. Higher resolution gives AI more detail to analyze, producing a better brick mosaic.

Photos taken with recent smartphones generally meet this — just upload directly.

We support common formats like JPG and PNG, up to 10MB. Works on both mobile and desktop.

Yes. As long as the scan resolution is high enough (recommended 300 dpi or higher), results are usually good.

For older photos with slight fading or damage, we recommend light retouching before uploading for the best final result.

Manual color selection isn't currently supported. AI automatically picks the best match from our ~50 brick colors to ensure optimal visual impact.

Yes. Bricks use a universal stud design and can be disassembled and rebuilt.

That said, we recommend displaying the completed piece — repeated disassembly may wear out the stud connections.

We recommend a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment. Avoid:

• Prolonged direct sunlight (may cause fading)
• Humid areas (bathroom, kitchen)

Both tabletop display and wall-mounting with frame work well.

Assembly time varies based on size and complexity:

• Use tweezers to remove bricks in tight spaces

Since every piece is custom-made, refunds are only available for serious defects:

• Serious defects (e.g. major color mismatch, structural damage): full refund or replacement
• Missing pieces: we'll send replacement bricks at no extra cost
• Minor cosmetic differences are inherent to custom brick art and are not eligible for refund

Because every brick mosaic is custom-made from your photo, it's a personalised product — so general returns (non-defect reasons) are not accepted.

However, if the product has a quality issue (serious defect, missing pieces, shipping damage), we will handle it — see the two questions below.

Please contact customer service within 7 days of receipt, with clear photos describing the issue.

If confirmed as a serious defect (major color mismatch, structural damage, shipping damage, etc.), we offer:

• Full refund, or
• Free replacement (re-produced)

Once approved, refunds return to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Brick mosaic colors are limited to our ~50-color palette and will always differ slightly from the original photo. Minor color variance is normal for custom products and is not eligible for return.

We recommend reviewing the multiple design previews carefully before ordering. If the final product differs significantly from the preview (production error), please contact customer service for defect handling.

Contact support with the missing brick colors and quantities (cross-check with the manual). We'll ship replacements free of charge, no extra fees.

Kits are counted and verified before shipping, but if pieces are genuinely missing, it's on us.

Once approved, refunds return to the original payment method within 14 business days. Actual arrival depends on your card issuer's processing speed.

If the package or product shows obvious shipping damage upon arrival, contact support within 7 days of receipt with photos of both the damage and the outer package.

We'll assess and arrange a replacement or refund.
